You are welcome to pre-book online, or just turn up and pay cash upon arrival, there is plenty of space for everyone. Open to all! Chair Yoga is a gentle practice that allows us to enjoy the many, wonderful benefits of yoga while seated or being supported by a chair. It is accessible for everyone, no matter of age, mobility or physical ability. In this calm and friendly class, movements are slow and mindful, with each stretch and motion guided by the breath. We will explore gentle mobility exercises, simple breathing practices and short moments of meditation and relaxation. These elements work together to help release tension, improve circulation and support joint health and bone health, all while remaining comfortably seated. Chair Yoga is especially helpful for those who find traditional yoga classes challenging due to knee, hip or back discomfort, reduced balance or limited mobility. Using the chair for support allows us to move safely and confidently while still strengthening muscles, improving flexibility and maintaining range of motion. Beyond the physical benefits, Chair Yoga deeply calming. Breathing slowly and deeply helps settle the nervous system, ease stress and bring a sense of clarity and relaxation. By the end of the class you are likely to feel lighter in the body, more open in the chest and shoulders and more at ease in both body and mind. Regular practice can also support everyday activities. Improved mobility, better posture and stronger muscles can make daily tasks such as walking, reaching, bending or getting up from a chair feel easier and more comfortable. Just as important is the sense of connection. Chair Yoga classes offer a warm and welcoming space where people come together, share a moment of calm and support one another on their wellbeing journey. Many participants say they leave not only feeling physically better, but uplifted by the friendly atmosphere and community spirit. If you would like to move more freely, breathe more deeply and feel good in your body, Chair Yoga offers a gentle and enjoyable way to begin. It is a chance to slow down, reconnect with yourself and experience the positive effects of yoga in a way that feels safe, supportive and accessible.
